19CF007487 – Client was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of marijuana. The Judge dismissed the felony marijuana charge and the jury returned a verdict of not guilty on the possession of a controlled substance. Client was found guilty of misdemeanor marijuana. Client was orginally facing 10 years in prison for the felony narcotics charges. Because the jury returned a verdict of guilty only to the misdemeanor marijuana charge, client faced 1 year in the county jail.
19CF005885-B – Client was charged with kidnapping and battery. After a 4 day trial with a video showing what appeared to be my client grabbing the alleged victim by the hair and dragging her into the trailer, the jury acquitted my client of the kidnapping charge and found her guilty of the misdemeanor battery.
18CF014249 – Client was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Client arrested at probation & deputies located a firearm inside his backpack. Client admitted the firearm was his. Jury deliberated for 5 hours, but they were unable to reach a verdict. Prior to the retrial – the State of Florida dismissed all charges.
14CF015754 – Client was charged with RICO, Conspiracy to RICO, Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine, 400 grams to 150 Kilograms, Trafficking in Cocaine (400 grams to 150 kilos), Trafficking in Cocaine (28 grams to 200 grams), Solicitation to Deliver Cocaine and Unlawful Use of 2-Way Communication Device. After a 2 week trial client was found NOT GUILTY of all charges on August 13, 2018.
15CF004640 – Client charged with Delivery of Cocaine within 1000 feet of a School and Possession of Cocaine. During the trial, the State of Florida introduced a video showing my client meeting with the confidential informant. The confidential informant also testified during trial that my client sold her crack cocaine. Jury deliberated for 15 mins before finding my client NOT GUILTY.
